We are the the Student Educational Committee of the Student Division for the Automation and Mechatronics Program at Chalmers (or SNZ for short).
We are a vital link between the student body and the faculty, where we mostly act as a medium of communication.
We are her to help all students studying on the Z programs (both students doing the bachelor degree in Automation and Mechatronics and the Master program System, Controls, and Mechatronics), but we also work with esuring and securing the quality of the courses on the programs.

Do you have questions regarding your studies? Don't hesitate to reach out to us! We exist to help all the students, and even if we can't help you with your specific problem , we can always help you come in contact with the right people. If you don't know who to contact regarding a problem/question, you can always ask us, and we will refer you to the rigth person.
Do you have opinions about a course?
Do you have opinions about a course that you want to convey? Please tell us! Your opinions as students are really important, so if there is something worng/bad with a course, tell us! We can then help fix the problem. Of course you can always leave positive feedback as well! We love that too!
SNZ can help you contact and have conversations with different professors and lecturers. Of course, students can always contact professors and lecturers themselves, but a lot of time the words form us can weigh heavier.
Common resons for us to contact professors/lecturers can for example be if they are late repporting the results for an exam or an assignement for a course (more than 15 workdays have passed).

A part of SNZ's work is to secure the quality of the programs, which means that we constantly take part of course evaluations. Your thoughts and input as students are so so important to us, since that is the ground we base our work on!
We therefore really appreciate it when you students fill out the course evaluation form you get at the end of every course! But you can of course contact us whenevery you want!

Help us improve and secure the quality of the program!
If the probelms with a course is serious, or if a lot of students struggle with the same thing in a course, we as SNZ can talk to the professor/lecturer and make sure that some changes are made!
We want to help, so inform us when something is not working!
If nobpdy tells us, we will not know and thereby we can't change anything.

Each week, on wednesdays at 12:00 - 13:00, SNZ have open meetings that anyone can join.
The meeting is held at our office Örebro, which is located in M-huset (map an more explanation on how to find it here)
We in SNZ are students just like you. All of us are either doing the bachelor or the master at the Z program, which means that you migth see any of us at lectures or on campus.
So if you see any of us, you can always talk to us in person! But usually it's easier to send an email than to try to find us.
